Fire Safety Storytime

October 7 - 13 was Fire Prevention Week. For our Terrific 3s and 4s Storytime (Thursdays 4:30) we invited members of the Oak Brook Fire Department to read a picture book about Fire Fighters and talk to us about Fire Safety.

Fireman Bob read us a story called Fireman Frank!

Sparky the Dog came to visit!

What number do we call if there is a fire? 9-1-1!

We practiced stopping...

dropping...

and rolling!

We listened to a fire alarm. It was really loud!

We played a game and sorted toys and tools. We know that we play with toys but not with tools.

The kids really enjoyed listening to Fireman Bob.

We had a lot of fun and want to thank Fireman Bob and Sparky the Dog for attending our storytime!
